After server outages, Payday 3 developers look to be “less dependent on online services”

The third episode in the successful cooperative heist series, payday, was released to the masses last week. However, the always-online nature of the title returned when its login and matchmaking servers buckled under the sheer number of players trying to play. After a weekend of outages and downtime, developer Starbreeze gave an update on what happened and what solutions are working.
