AMD releases Radeon Software 24.4.1 WHQL with Manor Lords support and many fixed issues

AMD Radeon Software 24.4.1 is out with optimizations for Lords Manor, Performance improvements b Hell divers 2, and additional fixes for existing games on various AMD Radeon video cards. For those who don’t know, Lords Manor is the upcoming strategy game set in a medieval setting where you build cities, wage large-scale battles, manage a complex economy, and resolve social unrest.

Lords Manor Coming on April 26, the game will be available on Steam, GoG, Epic Games Store, and PC Game Pass. If you plan to play this game and your computer is powered by an AMD Radeon graphics card, download the 24.4.1 driver.

Here are the issues fixed in AMD Radeon Software 24.4.1:

  • Performance improvements for HELLDIVERSâ„¢ 2.

  • Intermittent application crashes may be observed while playing Lords of the Fallen and entering certain areas on Radeonâ„¢ RX 6000 series graphics products.

  • Artifacts may appear in certain muddy environments while playing SnowRunner on some AMD graphics products, such as the Radeonâ„¢ RX 6800.

  • Rainbow-like objects may appear in water environments while playing Horizon Forbidden Westâ„¢ Complete Edition on Radeonâ„¢ RX 6000 series graphics products.

  • You may experience intermittent application crashes or driver timeouts while playing Overwatch® 2 with Radeonâ„¢ Boost enabled on Radeonâ„¢ RX 6000 series and higher graphics products.

  • Intermittent application freeze when first launching SteamVR using the Quest Link feature in Meta Quest 2.

  • Intermittent system or app crashes when sharing a screen using Microsoft Teams.

  • An intermittent app crash changes Anti-Aliasing settings while playing Enshrouded on Radeonâ„¢ 7000 series graphics products.

  • Display colors may appear “dull” or “washed out” after closing wrapped with Auto HDR enabled.

AMD also warns of the following bugs still plaguing its latest GPU driver:

  • Black corruption can be observed while playing Alien Isolation on Radeonâ„¢ 7000 series graphics products.
  • Corruption can be noticed while playing Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition or Alan Wake 2 with Radeonâ„¢ Boost enabled. Users experiencing this issue are advised to disable Radeonâ„¢ Boost as a temporary solution.
  • Max Payne 1 and 2 may fail to run on RDNA 3 series graphics products when Anti-Aliasing is enabled.
  • Texture movements are noticeable while playing Hitman: Contracts.[Resolution targeted for 24.5.1]
  • Intermittent stuttering immediately after alt-tab when performance layer is enabled. [Resolution targeted for 24.5.1]
  • Audio and video may be intermittently out of sync when recording using the AV1 codec in AMD: Adrenalin Edition. [Resolution targeted for Q3]
