If you wait for retrograde Radeon RX 7000 graphics cards, your wait is almost over and at least your wait is your first confirmation. According to a Twitter post from a vice president of the AMD, the company is planning to announce the big announcement on August 25th at Gamescom in Germany. If what CEO Lisa Su said to investors, that would be an ideal time to announce those new, fast-expansion GPUs the company is planning to release sometime this year.

The tweet from Mr. Herkelman of the Graphics Business Unit (which frequently guestd in our Full Nerd podcast) was seen by PCGamer, where the company mentioned the number of major product announcements. There are a few new desktop graphics cards, but as well as recent leaks confirmed the existence of the Radeon RX 7700 XT and the RX 7800 XT, it seems safe to see these cards in Germany for the first time in their official debut. Both models fill in those highly needed slots on AMDs roster between budget RX 7600 and premium RX 7900 XT GPUs.

The AMD promotional page says that the AMD Highlight Show will begin at 5:00 Cologne, which is 11 o’clock in the Eastern and 8 o’clock in the Pacific region. Intel will assume that its manufacturing partners haven’t spilled the rest of the beans in the next week. Many customers continue to wait for these mid-range cards at retail prices.
