ARK: Survival Evolveds Latest Update Features David Tennant and Raptor Santa

Published on

What are there all David Tenant and a velociraptor dressed in Santa? Many things are happening. Even though they both pop up in the Ark: Survival Evolvedslatest.

The winter event, Ark: Survival Elveds runs until January 5th, with the wings flying around the world, among other festive joys. Yes, this first-person survival game is a present-dropping dinosaur whose rages over the sea as it drops presents. The prizes include loot, cosmetic miniature pets and more.

David Tennant won’t ever be cruising through the skies in the Tardis, but he lent his voice to the Expanded Story Content Update, available across all platforms. He’s voicing Sir Edmund Rockwell, whose explorer notes you stumble across in the game. Tennant previously featured in Genesis expansion, again as Rockwell, though it’s your pleasure to decide if he is a friend or a foe.

The whole thing’s out now, but there’s more waiting in the air. Starting from this March 23rd, players can play the XWP survival-prototype. Put it another way, do dino-riding punch-ups? Instead of roaming around the island — and bumping into other players, this mode will feature a lot more intense players-versus-player action.

If you don’t have Ark: Survival Evolved yet, its available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox. It’s free on Xbox Game Pass and proved so entertaining that it made the best for us to list on PS4 the best Survival Games on PS4.
