the next Assassin’s Creed Ubisoft received its first cinematic trailer today, giving fans a first look at the feudal setting of Japan it will offer and the new heroes. catch the Assassin’s Creed Shadows The trailer above shows Shinobi and Samurai players will dominate the single player RPG experience.

takes place at the end of the Sengoku period (end of the 16th century), Assassin’s Creed Shadows Featuring the real historical samurai, Yasuke and a Japanese shinobi, Nao as the protagonists. Regarding how the two characters’ story arcs intertwine, Ubisoft said:

The dual protagonists of Assassin’s Creed Shadows are eventually brought in by Nobunaga, whose goal of unifying Japan takes his army—and Yasuke—to Iga Prefecture for the Second Tensho Iga War. Egan’s resistance, though heavily overpowered by Nobunaga’s army, is bravely led by Nao’s father. The two protagonists find each other through Nobunaga, though, for obvious reasons, they don’t exactly get off to a great start.

The duo will excel in various forms of combat. Yasuke will be a damage dealer, able to use various melee weapons and can even take more damage thanks to his armor. His status as a samurai will be respected even by ordinary people. Meanwhile, being an assassin, Neo is the only one with a hidden blade, and relies much more on stealth and dodge based combat, using the classic parkour and gadget elements. She could fit in by pretending to be a peasant in the cities.

Ubisoft also teased that new elements such as changing seasons over time in the game and using actual shadows for stealth will also be introduced in this entry. “The game world is dynamic and very detailed, built with the goal of letting players get lost in it – and as Naoe and Yasuke, players will have new and unique ways to connect with the beauty around them,” adds the company.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is released on November 15 on the PC platforms (Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store), Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Apple Silicon Mac and Amazon Luna. The game will also be available through a Ubisoft Plus Premium subscription.
