Ubisoft Massive is working on two blockbusters: Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and the new Star Wars title (which is for sale this year). While it isn’t known whether or not they own live-service or online support, neither of them will have monetization.

A new listing of Monetization Specialists at Massive Entertainment in Malmo, Sweden has been found. This role is going to be to contribute to the financial success of our games. They will formulate strategies that boost profit while respecting our players and the essence of each game. A Fast-Track program provides an opportunity for Spitters to become immediately involved in a specific project.

Instead, they will work with the live-to-return division (console and PC games). They should learn how to produce more revenue in fair, value-added way as many products as possible through secondary store, monetization systems, live events and more. They’ll monitor the monetization strategy and the acquisition, engagement and monetization KPIs of 3 Ubisoft projects.

Once the program ends, they join Massive Entertainment, as an ad-hoc manager to develop a strategy aligned with the players expectations and the creative & game directions. They will also Work closely with game owners to get customers’ money back.

The digital sales team plan and supervise the content, promotion, and offer of the primary and secondary stores, together with the UI, UX and programming teams to ensure the realization of monetization systems and features. Of course, adapting features on the player feedback is required.

According to The Division 2, Ubisoft Massive isn’t the only one who can post-launch monetization. Nevertheless, if these monetization strategies apply to the Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora or Star Wars, it might be the same effect as Assassins Creed Valhalla. As long as it is thought that new ones will be done, it’s very important to consider whether new ones are a part of the project.

The untitled Star Wars project has no date for release, but Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will be released between the beginning of the year, 2023 and 31rd of the year, for Xbox S, PC, and Xbox S, 4th of the year. Keep in touch in the future.
