Smith will play Theresa Burnett, the devoted wife of Martin Lawrence’s Marcus Burnett. Randle played the character in the first three films. Tasha Smith has risen to fame thanks to her starring parts in hit TV shows like “Empire,” “The Corner,” and “Why Did I Get Married?” In addition to directing movies, she has also directed episodes of various television series, such as “Our Kind of People,” “Mayor of Kingstown,” and “Bel-Air.” Since its inception, the “Bad Boys” film series has been a financial success, with the first film grossing $141 million and “Bad Boys II” bringing in $273 million. With a total of $426.5 million, the third installment, “Bad Boys for Life,” is the highest-grossing film in the series. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence will reprise their roles as Miami-Dade police officers Mike Lowery and Marcus Burnett, respectively, in the upcoming fourth film in the series.
