Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III comes to the PS4 and Xbox One, as well. We can’t confirm that Activision Blizzard has confirmation yet, but the situation was solved thanks to a new report from IGN.

However, we’ll have to take a step back and start from the beginning. Yesterday, the Daily Times reported that the official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare console, which is not listed in the Xbox One-only page, does not show a single version of the game and merely mentions a X|S version of the Xbox Series.

The title of the game, the original film Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, which was available via the official PlayStation channel, indicated the PS4 and PS5. On the network, there appeared to be suspicion that that the game would be released on PS4, but not on Xbox One.

Microsoft wrote on the Xbox website that confirmed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will be available to Xbox One and Xbox One with the exception of the Xbox Series X|S. There was probably a mistake, and the spread of information caused Microsoft to quickly correct it.

Of course there is always the possibility that both of these information is wrong, but IGN asked for confirmation and discovered that the two information must be considered correct. Final confirmation will not be received until August 17, 2023, but, now, the publication suggests that those who don’t own new consoles do not worry.

It’s officially known that various content will be possible from Second World War. Therefore, it’s not strange that two versions for PS4 and Xbox One have also been made. I think the game will cost more than I expected.
