Nearly three years of the current console lifecycle, cross-gen releases remain a dime a dozen, and while it remains to be seen whether that will be changing in the coming months, for now, some of the biggest releases of the year don’t know how to forego the massive install bases of the last-gen consoles. And although recent confusion suggested that the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 would skip an Xbox One release, and not a PS4 one, it seems that it will be clear, that that never happens.

Activision confirmed to IGN thatCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will still be launching for PS4 and Xbox One, alongside current-gen consoles, of course. The Games Xbox Store page that caused the aforementioned confusion also has been updated, and it has added Xbox One to its platform list.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will arrive on November 10, which is due on October 10. Until August 17, global reveal will happen.
