Activision announced they will hold an Open Beta for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare III, focusing entirely on testing multiplayer. The team will hold two different beta periods focused on testing everything multiplayer, but it’s only for MW3 at a time, with no warzone issues being discussed. The first test starts October 6-10 only for PlayStation owners. The following year’s beta test is taking place from October 12-16. Weekend One gaming exclusive.

• The first beta weekend is scheduled for Saturday, October 6 at 10 AM ET and then Sunday, October 10 at 10 AM ET.
• PlayStation Early Access: The players who preordered the game on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 can begin playing the Beta on Friday, October 6 at 10:00 p.m.
• PlayStation Open Beta: The remainder of the weekend, from Sunday, October 8, at 10 and Tuesday, October 10, at 10 and 10 to Sunday, October 10, at 10 are 10, accessible to all PlayStation players, no matter how far away the preorder status goes.

Weekend Two – Modern Warfare III Doubleplay.

• The second Beta weekend is for all platforms. The programme will commence on Thursday, October 12 at 10 a.m. ET and end on Monday, October 16 at 10 p.m.
• PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5: This is a free Open Beta weekend for all PlayStation 4 and 5 owners, regardless of their pre-order status.
• Xbox and PC Early Access: The purchasers who preordered the game for Xbox Two or Xbox One, or who pre-purchased a PC via Battle.net or Steam, can begin playing the Beta on Thursday, October 12 at 10:00.
• Xbox and PC game open Beta: The rest of the weekend, – all weekends from Sunday, October 14-11 and Monday, October 16-12, – are accessible to players with their preorder status.
