Innovating three-part documentary is slated for this year’s Paramount+ Schedule.

On Thursday, January 3, the streaming service will make a documentary about soft rock that happens during the holidays. The project was developed by MTV Entertainment Studios and Gunpowder & Sky. Chuck Thompson writes the series which sees Lauren Lazin as the director. Thompson and Lazin will make the series executive even. Van Toffler, who produces Sometimes When We Touch, is a co-production with Rick Krim. David Gale, Floris Bauer and Barry Barclay are joined in produce for Gunpowder & Sky. Bruce Gillmer and Vanessa Whitewolf executive produce for MTV Entertainment Studios, while Jennifer Yandrisevits is the director-director.

Someday When We Touch is an un-ignose story of soft rock with the dominance of pop music throughout the 70s, but also broke a rap in the 80s, and eventually discovered one of the greatest returns in music history, is read into the synopsis. The series presents all-new interviews with some of the biggest soft rocks legends: Air Supply (all out of love), Dan Hill (Sometimes When We Touch), Kenny Loggins (This Is it), Ray Parker Jr. (Women are not able to love), Rupert Holmes (The Pina Colada Song) and Toni Tennille (Love will keep us together). A single tribute to the underappreciated song which can continue to impact the American culture through candid and poignant stories.
