The new Madden 23 roster update will hit the consoles later today, and it’ll come with a much-deserved upgrade. Kansas City’s tight end Travis Kelce has torched opposing teams defenses all season and is the principal of the AFC West champions. The Chiefs broke up the division last week, partly because of the eight-time Pro Bowler. Now, Kelce will receive a respect that he has already been given twice by the Madden football team: a spot in the 99 Club.
The 33-year-old, probably the best tight end in the last five seasons, has dominated in 2022 now that he’s a clear top-target of Kansas City. In 14 games, Kelce has already completed the 1,000-yard receiving mark in the seventh season. The teammate and soccer player of 2019 are currently the top of the league for touchdowns (12).
The contestant season against Patrick Mahomes favorite target earned a return for third season to the famed 99 Club. For those unfamiliar with that, the 99 Club is a group of players that receive a 99 OVR rating in Madden.
When he received the new rating, Kelce received a special chain and trophy to add to the honor.

The only player that has received an updated rating this week is Kelce. After a strong week against the New York Giants, his rookie running back Brian Robinson will definitely see his rating jump. Robinson lost 89 yards on just 12 carriers on Sunday night to the Giants. Robinsons’ rating will jump up to 79 OVR in this week’s Gridiron Fan Boost.
Of course, if you want some other players with big upgrades for Madden Ultimate, then we recommend checking out Zero Chill Field Pass. In passing, there are a handful of powerful players you can pick and add to your team.
