Do the impossible? Dimension 20 Do the impossible?

Dimension 20 surprised its fanbase with the last night’s episode. The passengers follow at Dimension 20: Neverafter Episode3. The most recent episode of Dimension 20 concluded with a TPK, marking the first time in the show’s entire cast of characters had been killed off in a single encounter. The episode featured a multi-hour combat encounter between a group of Level 1 fairytale characters fighting against the Fairy Godmother of Cinderella’s famous story and her half-transformed inanimate objects/humans. The party’s goal was to collect a shard of Cinderella’s glass slipper from the Fairy’s chest, which could be used to power a mysterious magic book held by one of the parties’ members. While the exact nature of the magic book is still unclear, the effect of it is still unknown. Although the party managed to retrieve the shard from Fairy’s chest, the group was quickly overwhelmed by the Fairy’s constructs and either killed out or cried to death.

The party has already suffered a TPK, a rarity in high-profile streaming shows, and he still looks likely to be back in some form. Brennan Lee Mulligan, the DM of Dimension 20 seemed to deliberately build this encounter with a TPK. The sheer number disparities made an impolite combat victory, the fact that the constructs and the Fairy didn’t die when the glass shard was removed, indicated that the party had stumbled into a deadly situation. Considering that each character was dead, they showed some kind of interaction or clue of nature or their past, which seemed to suggest that their stories weren’t done yet.

Brennan Lee Mulligan also allowed the cast members to make Sharisma save throws for an unknown reason, giving all party members red glass beads if they failed. Mulligan didn’t elaborate on these beads, but they could have a lot of impact on the moment the characters get back in.

We’ll wait a week to see whether the players must make new characters or if Dimension 20 is introducing some sort of new wrinkle to the terrifying fairy tale season.

The new dimension 20 episodes are broadcast on Thursday, Wednesday, at 7 am.
