Donald Glover Would Come to the Spider-Verse… As Hypno-Hustler?

Published on

While he appeared in Spider-Man: Homecoming as Aaron Davis, the Atlanta, Solo, and community star Donald Glover will star and film Hypno-Hustler.

According to THR, Glover has been circling the Spider-Verse for a while, because there were a lot of people who wanted him to star in the Amazing Spider-Man before that was secure by Andrew Garfield. He played the game in the ultimate Spider-Man game, but doesn’t take on big role as a player yet.

The idea that he had played in this universe is misleading. He was brought back to the musical aspect of the character, and so much that he was in some sort of naive way to more intimate interpretations.

The villain was created by Bill Mantlo, the same writer who created the Rocket Racoon, and the artist Frank Springer. The first time that he appeared in the 1978 film Peter Parker, then the Spectacular Spiderman no. 24, was Antoine Delsoin, his real name is. He led a band called Mercy Killers who were using hypnosis technology to rob their audience.

Hypno-Hustler doesn’t make the list of 25 best Spider-Man villains, but for the better part that James Gunn previously did in the Guardians of the Galaxy, that doesn’t mean a new age of popularity can’t rise again if the right pieces are inserted.

Sources say one of the potential right pieces is Eddie Murphy’s son Myles Murphy, who is attached to writing the film that won’t be given a title yet.

Glover recently has finished working on a new show, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, which will star in with the PEN15 actress Maya Erskine. Spidey fans can check out the latest movie for Spider-Man:Across the Spider-Verse and discover all the variations that appear in the film.
