Bandai revealed the name of the next Dragon Ball Super Card Game expansion. There’s a key to this set in the Zenkai series. This is the fifth expansion of Zenkai’s series and the second most important set of Dragon Ball, game 3 alone. This set includes a “gorilla” – The fourth relic of his field, followed by Supersaiyan Blue Vegeta from the Realm of the Gods, Bardock from the Rise of the Z-Legends, and Goku from Wild Resurgence. Now is revealed that the God Rare is a Supersaiyan Gogeta. Super Saiyan Gogeta is expected to feature on a Secret Rare, as did Golden Great Ape Cumber and Super Saiyan 2 Gohan. We can confirm that this expansion has multiple focuses, including the Z-era Broly movies (including Broly the Legendary Super Saiyan, Broly Second Coming, Bio-Broly), DBS: Super Hero, the Z-era film Fusion Reborn, and The Super Dragon Ball Heroes arc “The Prison Planet Saga.” Today, we’re talking about another sPR, from the Multicolored section of Dragon Ball Super Card Game: Zenkai Critical Blow.

Today’s Special Rare reveal is SS Broly. This card is made of the heavy beast in his Legendary Super Saiyan (possibly 2?) form, giving the beast a terrifying blast. I love how the rings of the ki charging around Broly’s mammothhand are gold-stamped, making this one of the best snuff in recent memory. There are also intricate alterations in Broly’s face, hair, and muscles. This is a gold-clad linework that will combine the elements of the face and the bones and muscle. Surely a fun card to draw.
