Dragon Dogma 2 Update is coming soon, adds Capcom director

Unfortunately the details of Dragons Dogma 2 have been thin. Fortunately, the director, Hideaki Itsuno, has a status update in a statement that appeared in Japan’s Famitsu, stating development is moving well. The last time we heard anything big about the sequel to Capcoms open-world fantasy adventure was in June, when Itsuno and other devs announced the game on a shirt.

Dragons Dogma update is long overdue.

I responded to Famitsu, which I spoke to when Japan was based in 2023, and asked Japanese developers what it’d like to know about their plans, it said: “For the first time, what happened?”, said that, “Itsuno”.

My interest in the show is still limited at this time, but if I don’t find out what season it’s. We’re moving well, so I will try to keep our development going, so that we can share an update with you as soon as possible.

It’s surprising we have not had a release date, even a release window, for Dragons Dogma 2. We know from the Dragons Dogma 10th Anniversary Stream that Capcom uses the RE Engine to conduct the sequel. And this is about it.

Since that announcement was substantiated in the end of the year, a date since the publication of Dragons Dogma 2 was announced in the Q2 (Fan 2012). And it looks like Street Fighter 6 and Resident Evil 4 Remake will arrive soon.

With a new feature available on Netflix in September 2020, a Dragons Dogma series, which renewed some interest in the original game and re-released Dark Arisen, has also been released.
