Techland apologizes to everyone Dying Light 2. Stay Human players for the unattainable goal of the Winter Tale event with the free gun.

The winter fairy-tale event of the zombies’s Dying Light 2: Stay Human got ended on Thursday. The event was filled with cosmetics and themed challenges, but the goal was fulfilled by the group.

Even though the countermeasures were taken by Techland, players couldn’t collect six million items to unlock the exclusive Bauble Mace weapon by the end of the day.

Thanks to Twitter, the developer apologized for the unattainable goal and promised to give free compensation to all players of Dying Light 2: Stay Human the Bauble Mace weapon. If you wish the weapon, please have it by February 12th:
