Final Fantasy Series Poll Led by Emet-Selch and FFXIV

The Japanese video sharing site NicoNico organised an annual survey for the 35th Anniversary of the Final Fantasy Series. The Japanese people asked the list of their favorite books, their favorite songs, and their favorite characters. FFXIV,To Zanarkand, and Emet-Selch went top.

The total sample size for the Nuova-NicoFinal Fantasypoll was almost 11,169 votes. In each category, a portion of the top three places were held by Final Fantasy XIV, Final Fantasy X, and Final Fantasy VII. For example, the top three most popular characters were Emet-Selch, Wakka, and Cloud Strife. Emet-Selch is a thousands based on the story fxIV’s biggest antagonists. He was also a central villain oftheShadowbringers expansion. Hiroki Takahashi speaks Japanese by Shishi Takahashi (Keith Kepler, Family X, Ryu in The Fighter V), and in English by Rene Zagger.

A trend only found in Final Fantasy V which broke into the top three of the Favorite Music Album categories. The three biggest songs were FFX: To Zanarkand, WWV Battle on the Big Bridge, and WWXIVs A Long Fall.
