Forspoken developer Luminous Productions has introduced that the game has been delayed till October 2022.
The fantasy RPG will now launch on October 11, 2022, with the game coming to PC and PS5. The builders made the announcement on Twitter earlier as we speak (March 7).
“Our vision for this exciting new IP is to deliver a game world and hero that gamers across the globe will want to experience for years to come, so getting this right is extremely important to us,” started the assertion.
“To that end, during the next few months we will focus all of our efforts on polishing the game and can’t wait for you to experience Frey’s journey this fall.”
“Thank you for your understanding and continued support, We look forward to sharing more about Forspoken with you soon,” Luminous Productions added. The game was initially given a launch date of May 24, 2022.
Earlier within the year, it was revealed that prime fantasy creator Brandon Sanderson stated he was approached to work on the undertaking.
He stated Square Enix “came to me and said this feels like something you would really like, would you be interested in writing our lore?”
Sanderson was however added he couldn’t tackle the undertaking as he’s presently nonetheless engaged on an unannounced game undertaking. “I’d already just picked up a video game project that I still can’t even announce.”
