Free Fire viewership amounted to more than 90 percent but why?

Free Fire World Series (FFWS) 2021 Singapore is the largest of 5 million in-depth viewers. This is ahead of even international events like the World Championship of Legends (not Chinese television numbers).

Despite its new conclusion, the FFWS Bangkok was captured only 354,000 times a day, a far cry from the number achieved just a year ago. Even though the number of games has been falling in esports, the story of Free Fires is different. Losing 90% of your total viewers can’t just be blamed for a dip in interest or the ending of an epidemic.

The reasons for this fall from grace for the mobile battle royale title.

Free Fire television viewership falls in all regions.

Comparing the language-wise numbers of the FFWS Singapore and Bangkok makes clear the falling viewership in all regions. The samurai-language stream recorded over a million viewers and viewed the FFWS Singapore. In the FFWS Bangkok, they had less than 100,000 people.

For some regions, fall is more obvious than others. One of them is India, which was once known as a nation for free fire. This region contributed much to the overall spectatorship. Nevertheless, a game was banned by the country’s government in february 2022 for alleged data privacy reasons. From 1,9 million people in the FFWS Singapore, the Hindi stream fell nearly 98 percent to 22,700 in the FFWS Bangkok.

Garbana teady is in a bad mood.

It’s become clear now that Free Fire falls short of its grounding in new areas like Latin America and Southeast Asia. To blame this for strong competition from rival games like PUBG Mobile, there’s also been trouble with Garena.

In September, Garenas parent company Sea Ltd. reported a.1 billion-dollar loss in its quarterly financials report. This took all the workers out of all of its divisions, including Garena. According to a report, 15 percent of the games staff at the Shanghai office were put on leave.

This layoff would certainly have affected the overall function of the game and its esports scene. Many of the staff at Garenas have also switched to other companies. This type of problem was observed in Brazil.

Brazil is the most developed country for free-fire esports with a franchised league called the LBFF. The LBFF has three sets of series A, B, and C which each are for pro, semi, and amateur players. For a better understanding of the importance of free fire esports in Brazil, the winner of the Esports Team of the Year at the Esports Awards 2022, LOUD, was a free fire org in his early days.

Nonetheless, after the layoffs struck Garena, the layoffs remain in full play. The teams publicly complained about Garenas’ lack of information about the season 2023. Some of the best Free Fire players have even refused to confirm their participation.

There’s still some uncertainty about free fire esports plans for next year.

Stopping the BOOYAH! free Fire Esports Watchership Numbers.

The losses were sustained, Sea Ltd shut down its streaming platform BOOYAH! This platform influenced the general audience primarily because it gave Garena the chance to control its audience directly and reward them with in-game items for watching tournaments.

The only watchable streaming platform for the FFWS Singapore was BOOYAH. This number has dropped to zero in the FFWS Bangkok because it shuts down. There’s not yet been anything to be seen for Free Fire sports.

Will the viewership continue to run down or will it be stabilized in the future?
