Last month, old school-inspired MMORPG Genfanad decided to buy a trading card game-styled deckbuilder instead of a wheel roll tacky, but instead a shift that the game remained for maintenance all year, to make it more accessible. Since the title comes back with an extended beta and the possibility of reopening the title, Rose-Tinted Games kept the fans off the track about the move.

The meatier post about this new combat model was shared with people during the month. It explains the mechanics of a general combat model. In general, players must manage their energy in every turn as they encounter battles from simple monsters to deck-wielding boss battles. In terms of deckbuilding, players must manage two kinds of decks: an ability deck with the cards players gather and assemble, and an equipment deck that fills with set numbers and types of cards according to the player’s equipment.

The studio did also examine the battle models as broad effects, to make sure it isn’t as hard as it can be done, and then explain that the trading cards are the way to generate more social interaction among players. Genfanad is trying to open the TCG version closed beta for Kickstarter backers and Patreon patrons in late September.
