The manufacturer already has a Tachyon board in its collection, but it’s built on the flagship Intel Z790 chipset and is intended to do 13th generation Intel Core processors (Raptor Lake). It is noteworthy that the novelty for Ryzen 7000 processors will be equipped with the high-end AMD B650E chipset, and not the flagship X670E system logic built on two AMD B650 chips. This means that the board will support less PCIe lanes.

As such, the limited number of PCIe lanes is completely unimportant. The Tachyon series motherboards are designed for the purpose of controlling the power of PC components. The novelty will definitely receive a significantly improved VRM power subsystem, a more efficient memory channel layout, for better transmission of signal between processor and RAM modules, and the board will also be equipped with overclocking control buttons.

The Aorus Tachyon, like all other overclocking motherboards, will only have two DDR5 slots. Overclockers tend to only use one RAM module, which allows higher overclocking frequencies, so four UDIMM slots would be redundant here.
