The Epic Games Store is extending its Holiday campaign of rolling out a free game for every day of the season. Todays offering is a hard spot, as users can get a free copy of TiGames stopian metroidvania F.I.S.T. Forged in Shadow Torch.

F.I.S.T is a morphological adventure set against the backdrop of a humiliating, repressed cityscape of the omnipresent Society. Work class civilians and warttled soldiers do all they can to keep their heads down and eik out a rash existence under the polluted skies and filthy machinery that hunchs with a literal iron fist.

Yet one ex-soldier, Rayton Rabbit, was forced back to budge a dear friend by the government. He is arrested and taken to Forge Tower, and pushed over the oily suburbs. Donning the old, war-torn battle armor, Rayton is leaving for a do-or-die mission to protect his friend, destroy the State and return the city to its people.

F.I.S.T. Forged in Shadow Torch is an excellent example of metroidvania, with a completely detailed, layered world design, a stunning and immersive story and a rich combat system utilizing strikes, blocks, parries, combos and many other fighting games. As an original IP developed by the small Chinese studio, F.S.T. lent himself some attention on release, but was considered by many of the best games of 2021, and proved one of the most detailed metroidvanias.

Even if you do not wish to play it, it would be better if you carried this rock-solid title and bought nothing for the incredible price. Forged in Shadow Torch is available now on Epic Games Store. But don’t be angry, because it will not be possible to play another game in just a few hours. You can also buy this on the PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.
