The retired Apex pro and popular YouTube streamer HisWattson announced that a Halo tournament will be held in R5 Reloaded, the Modded version of Apx Legends. This is a collaboration that nobody knew they needed, but HisWattson always delivers to the Apex community.

Even though he didn’t give any specific information, the announcement provided some important details for pros and content creators to encourage fans. Specially, the tournament will include classic Halo maps and weapons remade using source engine as well.

The video will not only be realistic enough to the classic Halo days, but also a 16-team bracket with TDM (the team deathmatch), CTF and oddball. As per the Halo franchise, players’ icons have become character characters. Two weapons have been confirmed to be part of the tournament: The M7 and SRS99 sniper rifle.

The hunt for teams with a goal of pro-player and content creators starts at once. Participation is not limited to Apex Legends players; any pro or creator regardless of his choice, can play the tournament in order. Although prizes do not come through nor does there exist an online advertising process, those participating can share their opinion by streaming the prize money.
HisWattson is known to hold a series of Apex tournaments with fun ideas like prop and duck hunting. These tournaments are not only a success in the Apex scene, they also give entertainment to pros who wait around for these ALGS and streamers at the daily grind.

I wonder if someone is interested in playing Halo’s Apex tournament as names appear under HisWattsons Post, previously Twitter. The people and the staff who’ve wanted to get involved in this way are TSM Mande, CSR Reps / Dojo Dezignful “Mountain” (June 2019), DJ Slavsky-Retouvel.

There’s no doubt how these teams will be split. That is the reason I think of that as being determined by a factor between pros and content creatorell, right? Having said that, I have the vision for retired Halo player FaZe Snip3down as HisWattson should make SNimpering mandatory with five first place wins in his championships. Surely this tournament can’t exist without Snip3down?
There’s no official date to take place at the Halo r5 basketball match, but HisWattson says it is going into November 2023.
