Just before the New Year, Koei Tecmo introduced a new project called Fate/Samurai Remnant. This game is based on a popular Fate franchise which includes games, anime and manga. Miyamoto Musashi from the mobile RPG Fate / Grand Order will appear among the characters already known.

Fate/Samurai Remnant is being developed by Omega Force, an in-house studio known for multiple musou projects. The new story might seem like a kin to the previous movie, but the first trailer didn’t show massive battles. The game is being developed under the supervision of Type-Moon, the creators of the original series, and in cooperation with the anime company Aniplex.

Fate/Samurai Remnant will arrive in 2023 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox 5, and Nintendo Switch.
