As is known, Kojima Productions works only on its own and accepts no orders for third party projects.

Hideo Kojima announced in an interview with IGN that he and his studio Kojima Productions don’t take orders from third parties, and only work on their own game name, or IPs, which belong to the developer studio.

Kojima Productions isn’t publicly traded, so I’ve got no intention of keeping growing that company, he said. Just want to get the job done, and this is my attitude in that position while I play games, in which I do not forget the other forms of visual projects. We’re going to keep the stance of making our own IPs and neoworking on any other licence.

And thus, Kojima doesn’t work on Metal Gear, Silent Hill, or other potentially possible brands from other manufacturers. Even Kojima Productions exclusive Xbox project is a new IP from the studio.
