The final series of the domestic portion of the 2019 League of Legends season ended today with G2 Esports defeating Fnatic in a convincing 3-0 victory for the 2023 LEC season finals. The complete fields of teams entering the World Championship went into short play-in following the LEC finals.

This stage, much like the play-in stage, will consist of smaller teams, however a small region squad will participate, the eventual winner of the Worlds Qualifying Series will also be involved in tournaments first. In each re-election by the aforementioned VCS and PCS each will go to Worlds play-in, while the LLA, CBLOL and LJL will only send a single team in a single day.

Only two teams will rise above the competition in this year’s play-in stage edging into World Championship holder’s title race.

World 2023 play-off will take place on oct. 10, but tournament can be played on Oct. 9 whereas World Qualifying series is played on Oct. That best-of-five will be between the LEC and the Golden State Guards. The match between the EU and the NA will determine the final representative of the Worlds play-in stage, and they will be set to bracket B, where teams of Whales await the winner.
