The first of Lord of the Rings Onlines planned series of crafting-related events has too much difficulty getting off the ground. The Standing Stone Games announced on Friday that its forced to delay the Forester gathering event for a second time because of sync issues that weren’t present in testing but are still on the live servers.

“Apologies for using LOTRO for freeAt present, the function of live situations often differs from our more controlled environment, said Orion, Lead Systems Designer. I know the solution that I have to use right now. The task is somewhat tough, but it’s not something we can really rectify. I’ll keep you up to date. Once that fix is inspected, and hopefully added to a Bullroarer, I will deliver a post which explains what, why, how and why the issues occur with the event. I think it’ll be good to peel back the curtain, to expose the web, as we make such a beautiful project.

Although the testing debut of LOTROs new Mariner classes continues to dominate the debate, the debate still remains dominated by official and otherwise. We postponed the new class earlier this week.
