Nintendo released a video message and Karl Martinet e Shigeru Miyamoto regarding the return to the old post-game mode of Mario, starting with Super Mario Bros. Wonder on October 20th.

As we know, Martinet will become Mario’s ambassador. To attend the event that has been organised by Nintendo and to meet the fans of the Super Mario 64 fans, whom it has collaborated with since 1996.

The actor discussed the importance of the chance that Nintendo offered him this new project, while Miyamoto shared some anecdotes and expressed his considerable interest in Martinet.

Marios future

Martinet and Miyamotos message is intended to announce who will replace the actor in the role of Mario as well. At first, such a move would not have been justified only if a big name had involved it.

We will therefore see how Nintendo will manage this delicate transition phase, knowing though a very rigorous selection was being carried out and with the eye towards the future of a virtually eternal franchise.
