Recent claims against actor Jonathan Majors, who plays the monstrous Kang the Conqueror in the MCU, have left fans worrying about the future of the character. The MCU is now in the middle of the Multiverse Saga. Late in the month of March, police found Majors and arrested him for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend. There have been rumblings about a possible recasting, but Marvel may decide to go in a different direction with its villain. As CIA director Valentina Allegra de Fontaine in the MCU, Julia Louis-Dreyfus has suggested that her character might play a major role as the antagonist in the Saga. First seen in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Louis-Dreyfus’ Valentina persuaded John Walker and Yelena Belova to join her shadowy organization. Louis-Dreyfus has alluded to being inked to a multi-movie contract, so it’s evident that Marvel has big ideas for her character. With Valentina already established in the MCU, a move in this route by Marvel may prove to be a smooth one. Fans will only have to watch the Saga unfold to find out who becomes the main bad guy.
