Microsoft will no longer release a update and support for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1

The second generation of Windows is going out in 2023. Microsoft officially will stop working for Windows 7 and 8.1 next week. Operating systems won’t receive critical security updates, and applications won’t be guaranteed to work anymore.

Microsoft will end support for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 on the 10th of January. For the OS, no updates are available, but it is also expected to provide technical support. Tens of millions of users face security challenges. According to an analyst estimate in 2021, Windows 7 is still used by around 100 million users worldwide.

If your computer runs Windows 7 and 8.1, then you can download Windows 10 and 11 on your computer.
