Microsoft will no longer release a update and support for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1

The second generation of Windows is going out in 2023. Microsoft officially will stop working for Windows 7 and 8.1 next week. Operating systems won’t receive critical security updates, and applications won’t be guaranteed to work anymore.

Microsoft will end support for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 on the 10th of January. For the OS, no updates are available, but it is also expected to provide technical support.
