Need for Speed Unbound developer Criterion revealed that the game will not get any major updates or content additions until the end of January 2023, when the first update’s expected to be released. We haven’t yet seen much details on the first update but we do know it’ll expand social play.

When will the first need for speed 2023 update be released?

According to Jeff Braddock, who has a team at EAs, players can expect more info and updates from the development team towards end of January 2023. The team had previously announced the first game update would focus on expanding social play features, but this is what we know about it until now.

After January 2023 update, new modes, new social features, new cars, plus customization content and progression for Lakeshore Online. There will be special experiences packs, too. No one has a release date window for all of this content at the moment.
