Netflix wants to further increase the price of his subscription

Published on

Netflix would like to increase the subscription price, which has already increased significantly in recent months.

The increase in account-sharing and the increased cost of subscription fees: Netflix has been trying to drive profit and lose part of its audience, even though it means making no changes to the part of its staff. We learned that in June of the SVOD service, some time ago, the Essential offer, which he requested at eight.99 euros per month without advertising, and to leave the subscription for 13.49 euros per month as the first option to anyone with no plans to spend money.

Now that Wall Street Journal estimates a general increase is expected.

The bill gets steep.

It must be made first for the United States and Canada before extending the idea to other countries where Netflix is present. The firm would like to wait for the end of the screenwriter’s and actress strike that is now happening in Hollywood. The workers in the industry are demanding, to help them, a higher remuneration due to inflation and the fact that a generative artificial intelligence might be at the heart of their future work.

We don’t know what Netflix could offer at all. The last price increase dates from October 2021, two years ago. It was followed by many players on the TV sector, including Disney or Apple TV.

Today, an iPlayer subscription is available from 8.99 euros per month, and so from 17.99 euros per month – without advertising. As of the end of 2014 the company was launched in France, its price was 750 euros to 111 euros per month.
