Notes on Diablo 4 1.1.4s: The next week of the update

Published on

Diablo 4 has released a new patch, the 1.1.4, next week, and developer Blizzard has shared the notes. It hits all platforms this September 12th, but unlike one update, it shouldn’t result in a collective cry of ignorance.

The changes are relatively minor, mostly bugfixing, but at all, class-based changes can be made. There’s a correction for accessibility because, for what reason or not, the screen reader wasn’t reading enemies names. In Diablo 4 the security of a person helps you to find out what your own match is against.

The biggest change due to the gameplay-related change is that the Golden Of Aggression season blessing has delivered a hefty more effective experience bonus. As Blizzard says, it should help players wanting to level 100 get there a little faster.

What else does that patch do? Here are all the patches for this new one: 1.1.4.

Gameplay Updates:

  • The total experience bonus paid out from the “urn of Aggression” season blessing was increased from 8 to 20.

Bugs are repaired.

  • Fixed an issue where the screen reader didn’t read enemy names.

Questions and events – on which I had to make a discovery and to show how to do it.

  • Fixed an issue where the Loraths polearm and Strange Amulet items from the Missing Pieces quest couldn’t be picked up after dropping them and re-entrying town while mounted.
  • Fixed an issue where progression for the remembering the Goose quest could be blocked if the player teleported using the Town Portal or exited the game immediately after placing the Tavishs dagger.
  • Fixed an issue where the Retching Mass event didn’t reward Gold once finished.
  • On one point, progression for the Poisoned Hearts quest could be blocked if the player left the area in the middle of the Anetas-Crede dialogue with Vera.

  • Fixed an issue in which a dialog option cannot display correctly.
  • Fixed a problem where the season journey percentage displayed in the Season menu was double the progression percentage of the last viewed chapter.
  • Fixed an issue where the warning that your inventory is full could appear unexpectedly.
  • Fixed an issue where credit would not be received for completing the Malignant Tunnels Seasons Journey objective if the heart wasn’t caught.
  • Fixed a problem where voices over lines didn’t play for the following taunt Emotes:
    • I’ll end your job.
    • You’re dying.
    • I’ll let you keep your soul away from me.
    • Die!
    • Prepare for the devil.
  • Various motion, performance and stability fixes.
