Nothing launches phone (2a) ‘Special Edition’ with limited stock

London-based smartphone brand Nothing has launched a new version of its budget smartphone called the Phone (2a) Special Edition. According to the company, this is the first Nothing product to feature all three primary colors (red, yellow and blue) that represent the brand in its entire hardware lineup.

For example, red is seen in the right earpiece of Nothing audio products; Blue is included in Nothing Phone (2a), and blue and yellow are in Nothing Ear (a). Design Director of Nothing, Adam Bates said Because “the overall aesthetic of the device references some of our design heroes from the past while creating a new expression for the smartphone. Elevating a functional device to a striking work of art.”

The company has been teasing the device through social media posts over the past few days. Nothing is shared a Dot style logo of a phone (2a) featuring the three colors, followed by a collage of its primary colors with their hash codes and a sneak peek of the device itself. The posts pretty much made it clear that a new color option for the phone (2a) is on the way.

Limited units of the Nothing Phone (2a) Special Edition are available via her website In 12GB/256GB configuration with a price tag of £349 / ₹27,999 / €379. Starting at 11am on June 1st, you can also head to its physical store in London and purchase a unit for yourself. It will be available in limited numbers on a first-come, first-served basis.

The special edition model arrived about two months after the launch of the Nothing Phone (2a). Just like its other brothers, the device comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro 5G chip, 12GB RAM (8GB Booster), a 5,000 mAh battery, a 120Hz AMOLED display and 1,300 nits of peak brightness.
