The Xbox Game Pass seems to be an absolute blockbuster for Microsoft. However, the company looks like it’s trying to expand the customer base. If the previous subscription is too expensive for you, you should probably be lured by advertising-financed subscriptions in the future.
Netflix recently introduced a cheaper, but advertising-financed subscription system to attract new subscribers to a subscription at a better price. As far as the first conclusion is concerned, there is no comparable view on the Xbox Game Pass.
At least that’s what a new survey suggests. The screenshot of the Spanish survey has appeared via ResetEra. Microsoft asks specifically about an cheaper subscription model, which then will rely on advertising and then on the same platform.
A price of three euros per month would be possible for a price of this level. The expensive entry into the world of Xbox Game Pass could then fall from the logical advertisements and add even more restrictions.
When it comes to booting games, it seems to you that you need to keep an eye on them. For example, EA access and the first-party games of Microsoft Xbox remain in this subscription model. In this case, you would need six months to get started. If you want to play new titles quickly, you would better serve the regular Xbox Game Pass subscription.
The advertising-financed version should also include online multiplayer. If you want to play Call of Duty on behalf of your friends, and if you get enough money to play this game, then the cost-effective level of advertising would be worth more money.
It’s not a secret whether Microsoft will really introduce an advertising-financed subscription on the basis of this survey. A glance at the cost of 3 euros per month, the price at least pleasantly low. Even with the survey results, it will be exciting to see how Microsoft will proceed in this regard.
