It’s time to make up a new era. The Pokemon TCG Japan will release two sets on January 20, 2023. That will bring Pokemon and Trainers to the Pokemon TCG in 2020. These sisters are, too,Scarlet ex and Violet ex. These sets and three one-card Starter Set ex decks will be the basis of the French-language series Scarlet andamp; Violet base coming out internationally on March 31, 2023. When news were released that versions of the sets will now more closely mirror Japanese sets, and use silver borders and set codes instead of set symbols. This set sees the return of the original low-case ex card type, along with the debut of the Terastal ex card type that will replace Vs and VMAX as ultra rares. We have not seen how full-art & secret rares of theBlack & Violet era will appear. Today we look at the card from one of the Starter Set ex decks.

Lucario ex will appear in the Starter Deck Ex: Sprigatito and the Scuttle. It will include the cutest card on the obscene I remember in this art gallery by artist Naoyo Kimura, who has contributed back centuries in his tribute to the famousSouthern Islands special set from the Wizards of the Caribbean. Kimura illustrated nine cards in the special set. Other memorable Kimura cards include Pikachu fromneo Genesis, Espeon and Umbreon from Neo Discovery, all three Legendary Beasts of Johto fromNeo Revelation and of course the hilarious Rowlet & Alolan Exeggutor GX Exeggutor GX-Aloyal Art from the Sun & Moon Unified Minds.
