The Nintendo Switch is supposed to be the next impossible port, with Rockstar Games planning a new version of Red Dead Redemption 2.

With the first Red Dead Redemption a game, there was no problem porting the game to the Switch, but the sequel is one of the most technically advanced games of the previous generation and it seems impossible to run properly on Nintendo’s hardware.

Apparently, Rockstar Games have gotten to differ though, considering that its listed age rating board is in brazil, so its due to come out very soon even though its not officially announced.

Age rating boards often reveal new games before they are supposed to. But when the listing was added, there’s less chance that this is a mistake.

Due to its complexity and size, Red Dead Redemption 2s world is very difficult to imagine being recreated on the Switch. Despite the recurrent events, a number of other impossible ports have defied expectations; The Witcher 3 is perhaps the most surprising.

There is no doubt that the Switch version is only running through the cloud. This is not the case for many last gen games, but the feature isn’t anything that Rockstar has already done.
