In an interview with Wired, Rian Johnson said he had started the scripting for the third installment of Knives Out.

While Johnson refused to give any details, it seems to be reasonable that Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) will investigate the complicated case a second time. No or nothing else is the will of the author.

Netflix spent 450 million dollars in 2021 to buy first and second parts of the film. The sequel was published on December 23, 2022 under the name “Yves Out: The Glass Onion”, which was watched eighty-and-a-half million hours on the platform.

Johnson said that he was very open to making further parts.
