Apple announced that Slow Horses will be coming to the beginning on December 1, with two new episodes. New episodes of the spy thriller will finally be released on Apple TV on Friday, December 29th.

Apple also released first-hand pictures of the upcoming season, with the return of Gary Oldman as Jackson Lamb, the head of Mi5s Slough House. Other images also reveal Jack Lowden’s return as River Cartwright, Rosalind Eleazaras Louisa Guy, Christopher Chungas Roddy Ho, and Saskia Reeves as Catherine Standish. Out of all, Sope Dirisu combines the cast of Sean Donovan and the former head of security at the British embassy in Istanbul.

What’s it you expect in Slow Horse Season three?

Slow Horses follows a British intelligence agent who is employed by the MI5 Slough House dumping facility, a description reads. Oldman stars as Jackson Lamb, the affluent leader of the spies who rely on their career-ending mistakes in Slough House.

Slow Horses is inspired by Mick Herrons spy novels in the Slough House series. Season 3 is written to Real Tigers, the third book in the series. It revolves around an inhospitable relationship in Istanbul who threatened to publish a secret. When Jackson Lamb and his team of mediocres fall into the fight, they are caught in a conspiracy that threatens the future not just of Slough House, but also of MI5 itself.

The series stars Kristin Scott Thomas, Freddie Fox, Chris Reilly, Samuel West, Sophie Okonedo, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Kadiff Kirwan, and Jonathan Pryce. Katherine Waterston joins the series as an associate of the MI5 team Alison Dunn.

Slow Horses is an animated version of Will Smith (Veep) who is a television star. There are also executive producers including Smith, Iain Canning, Hakan Kousetta, Jamie Laurenson, Gail Mutrux, Emile Sherman, Douglas Urbanski, and Graham Yost.
