Qualcomm announced in Cologne the Snapdragon G Series, a processor that is compatible with handheld gaming consoles. Among the companies that will build devices on the Snapdragon G Series are AyaNeo, Huaqin, Inventec, Thundercomm.
Snapdragon G1 is designed for portable gaming without fans. It’s suitable for game streaming, locally and through the cloud. The Snapdragon G1 is based on high-quality connectivity and battery life. The first smartphone that is connected to the Snapdragon G1 smartphone is the Snapdragon Gen1 Gen1 built in 8 Qualcomm Kryo cores paired with a Qualcomm Adreno A11 GPU to run portable video games. The Snapdragon G2 is a full-featured mobile and cloud gaming platform. Qualcomm has announced its support for 5G and Wi-Fi 6/6E from the Mobile Connectivity System.The first product of this tier is the Snapdragon G2-Genonite platform, powered by the Kryo processor, the gaming-optimized Adreno GPU and the Snapdragon X62 5G Modem-RF. This platform should let gamers discover everything that mobile and cloud games have to offer. Snapdragon G3 is the highest-performing console for users who use the best technologies of its technology to gain the best experience in gaming. The Snapdragon G3x Gen 1 has already run the Razer Edge 5G platform. The Snapdragon G3x Gen 2 platform is the latest gadget in the G3 series. With a 4GHz processor and the AMD GPU, the new platform increases computing performance by 30%, the same performance as its predecessor.
