Square Enix released seven tracks from the upcoming film Star Ocean: The Second Story, on multiple digital platforms including Spotify and YouTube. These early releases look like a preview of the full soundtrack, which will be released by The Company in November 2023.
The aggregate link shared by Square Enix let the listener take a listening role on platform. Other than Spotify and YouTube, the tracks from Star Ocean’s second remake are available on Apple Music in its entirety at Amazon. The link includes Japanese music platforms like Awa, Morako and Recochoku.
Here is the list of seven tracks that can be streamed. All of them are new, arranged versions made for Second Story R by Motoi Sakuraba.
The full original soundtrack has been released in Japan on November 8 and 2023. Square Enix hasn’t announced the total number of tracks that will be included in this film yet. However, it gave short previews for the 22 tracks released in first of four CD’d versions.
Square Enix has also opened pre-orders on its North American web store. The album will be available for $7.99 and imported directly from Japan.
Star Ocean: The Second Story will come out worldwide for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC on November 2, 2023. The RPG demo is available for a video demonstration, too. The original soundtrack of the games will be available on November 8, 2023.
