The Final Fantasy series celebrated its 35th birthday, and Square Enix has become a leading fan of a very great series. The franchise has come a long way since its humble eight-bit beginnings in 1987, but still haven’t forgotten the classic stories that got them to where they are today. Square Enix has remastered every old Final Fantasy in its Pixel Remaster lineup, both for PC and mobile, but so far there haven’t been any changes to the release of these beauties on consoles. Square Enix confirmed in January of 2023 that the Pixel Remaster Series will be coming to Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Spring of 2023.

The company said that the game will be available as a digital download, but a limited edition edition will be available on the same day. This package includes:

• Final Fantasy’s I-VI physical collection of all the games for PC or Nintendo Switch.
• New York-born ed.
• The game package is a bonus lenticular sleeve.
• Vinyl record set with 2 CDs of newly arranged games and exclusive cover artwork from Kazuko Shibuya.
• A specially written artbook showcasing beautiful character-pixel art.
• Eight stylized pixel art character figures are in the window packaging.

Square Enix asked fans to order as long as quantities are limited and the store is exclusively free. They also offer a standard edition for limited time only on their store.

The Pixel Remaster series has some of the best Final Fantasy games that have been released. Players can experience Final Fantasy I, II, III, IV, V, and VI without losing any confidence in the original experience.
