Star Wars Jedi: Survivor joins free game days for all Xbox Series X|S players to try

Published on

Xbox Free Play Days is back with another round of games for players to try, and this weekend Microsoft offers two games. Star Wars Jedi: Survival Available for all Xbox players to try out over the weekend without the need for subscription plans like Game Pass. However, there is a time limit attached. At the same time, Headbangers: Rhythm Royale Xbox Game Pass Core and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers get to play for free this weekend.

Jedi: Survivor just joined EA Play, and by extension Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, but for this weekend only, any Xbox Series X|S player can jump in and continue Cal Kestis’ latest adventures across the galaxy. The title takes place five years after the original game, the Jedi Knight, his friend BD-1 and his space crew forced by the Empire to flee to the edge of the galaxy.

However, this is a timed trial. Xbox players have five hours to enjoy the game before Sunday, May 5 at 11:59 PM PDT cutoff points.

Meanwhile, Headbangers: Rhythm Royale Comes as a unique Battle Royale experience. The title pits 30 competitive pigeons (players) against each other for rhythmic challenges. Similar to other battle royales, the goal is to finish the last few rounds, but this time through a variety of “mind-bending musical mini-games” in each match.

To make it easier for ongoing gamers to follow the temporary Free Play Days game deals, discounts are available for both titles on offer this weekend. Progress will remain even if the games are purchased now or at a later date. Below you can see store links to the available titles, as well as which platforms they can be played on:

This weekend’s free play days will end on Sunday, May 5th at 11:59 PM PDT. Depending on the schedule, expect to see a whole new batch of Xbox games go on sale on May 9th.
