Lucasfilm has dropped the Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 spot for the upcoming reboot of Disney+. The next installment will premiere on January 4, 2023, with the first two episodes.

The video continues to investigate the aftermath of the incident at Kamino in the season. This will see the titular team depart from new places that are to take them to dangerous and unexpected places.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch (first introduced in the Clone Wars ), which they find their way in a rapid changing galaxy within the immediate aftermath of the Clone War. Unlike the first seasons, the synopsis is read. Members of Bad Batch a unique group of clones who are genetically different from their brothers in the Clone Army each possess a singular unique unique ability that makes them extraordinarily effective soldiers and a formidable crew.

The series is written by Dee Bradley Baker, Michelle Ang, Rhea Perlman and Noshir Dalal, with Oscar winner Wanda Sykes making her guest into the series as Phee Genoa in the second season.

The bad batchhails from director Dave Filoni, who is an integral force in the Star Wars universe this past decade due to his work on numerous animated movies such as Clone Wars,Rebels, andStars Wars Resistance,and in the live-action seriesThe Mandalorian.

This series is produced by Athena Portillo, Brad Rau,Jennifer Corbett and Carrie Beck, while also Josh Rimes is the producer.Rau is on the other side of the story, with Corbett as the head writer.
