This is the second of those supermoons until 2037.
On the night of August 30-31, the inhabitants of the Earth saw a supermoon the moon reached the nearest target for the Earth. The supermoon was unique: its nickname is Blue Moon, a perpetual moon that happens for the full moon twice a month.
Through a slew of videographical accounts in social media, we have compiled some of the most impressive photos of this supermoon. There is a set of photos from the United States, the European Union, Africa and Asia.
Contrary to the name, Blue Moon does not have any effects on the blue color of the Earth’s satellite. It appears in fact white, but on some observers, the Moon in other words capture the white or orange shape.
The next time, the combination of Blue Moon and supermoon can be seen only in seven years and will be 2037.
