TEKKEN 8 will hit the battlefield in January, but now the two-player details are gone.

Bandai Namco Europe announces that TEKKEN 8, the next installment in the Fighting franchise, will be released on January 26th, 2024. The game will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox 5 with Steam.

Developed by Bandai Namco Studios, TEKKEN 8 uses current hardware to become the most visually pleasing game of the series. That title, too, promises a new approach to fighting games, with a new aggressive combat system that rewards more offensive tactics and delivers spectacular combat.

At the reveal, a new weapon for TEKKEN 8 was introduced, Arcade Quest. Arcade Quest is a single-player training mode, which is intended to be the ultimate training ground, and take on the roots of the series to introduce a new way of playing and skill-improving.

In this mode players create and customize their own avatars, and visit different arcades for the participation of participants in battles. Players can learn new techniques and improve their game. As the story progresses, players tend to grow stronger and with their avatar becomes stronger.

They hone their skills against increasingly tough opponents in a story not that different from how many real gamers became involved in sport.

TEKKEN 8 is available for pre-order now in Standard, Deluxe and Ultimate Editions. Standard Edition pre-orders will include the base game when available and grant the Paul Phoenix set as a plethora of avatars for gamers. PlayStation 5 players will receive the Mokujin and Testujin avatar skins.

The Deluxe Edition includes all standard items, as well as the Playable Characters Year 1 Pass, which unlocks four characters that appeared after the games launch and the Kinjin avatar skin. The Gold Suit Pack also includes playable character costumes for all 32 characters, allowing players to shine during battles.

There are all the things to do in the Ultimate Edition, plus a full palette of avatar skins for Kazuya, Jin, and Jun, and 32 Samples of a classic TEKKEN T-shirt set players can use to personalize their avatars.
