Most people just use Telegram to chat with friends and family or share and save larger files that aren’t supported by the likes of Messenger. If you’re a rank above the rest of us and have some artistic skills, you might be interested Telegram’s new sticker editor which allows you to take a photo and then crop the background and add other elements such as text and drawings.

To start using the new sticker editor, head to your respective app store and make sure the latest Telegram update is installed. Once you’re updated, go to Telegram chat and click the sticker button to the left of the message box, then look for a plus button at the beginning of your stickers to add news.

Making stickers is actually not that hard, the tool is really cool and can automatically remove the backgrounds from the objects you take pictures of. Once you are satisfied with the sticker you made, you can send a sticker to friends or create a sticker set.

After editing your sticker, you can match it to an emoji for easy access, send it directly to your contacts, add it to your favorites, or add it to a sticker set.

Another new change in this update is that you can add any existing sticker to your custom sets, bringing all your favorites in one place for easier access. You can also share your sticker packs with other users by tapping the three-dot menu on the sticker pack and copying the link. You will receive a unique t.me link to share with others. This update also adds link previews for all sticker and emoji sets.

Telegram said that 16 new features will be introduced this month but they will come later. However, with these new sticker updates, there’s no need to wait, just go and update Telegram now to get started.
