Jason Blum has revealed the release date of The Exorcist: Believer’s one of the best-known movies.

In a tweet made August 31, Blum announced that The Exorcist: Believer had its premiere date move from Friday, October 13 to Friday, October 6th. That announcement followed the joking hashtag #TaylorWins, referencing how Taylor Swifts Eras Tour will play in theaters on October 13th, among others.

The Exorcist: Believer is a direct sequel to the original horror movie. It was adapted from William Peter Blatty’s novel. Green is the director of a film, the actors are Scott Teems, Danny McBride and Peter Sattler co-write. To join Burstyn are Leslie Odom Jr, Ann Dowd, Raphael Sbarge and Jennifer Nettles with newcomers Lidya Jewett and Olivia Marcum.
Since the death of his pregnant wife in a Haitian earthquake 12 years ago, Victor Fielding raised his daughter, Angela herself, read his story. But when Angela and her friend disappear after three days, after no memory of what happened to them, unleashes a long swarm of events. Those actions will force Victor to confront a hell of evil and seek out the only person of the past who witnessed everything like it: Chris MacNeil.
The sequel is made by Jason Blum, David Robinson and James Robinson, with Green, McBride, Couper Samuelson, and Stephanie Allain executive producing. It’s a co-production between Blumhouse and Meturgroid Production, Ryan Turek overseeing the project in behalf of Blumhouse.
