Microsoft is certainly intending to build an analogy for DLSS.
We continue to study Microsoft documents disclosed in the court of the US Federal Trade Commission. Why not document document, Microsoft is actively working on a Xbox console?
The processor is either the Zen 6 or ARM. Until now, a decision hasn’t been made. The graphics core will definitely be built on AMD’s technology.
The Xbox One will have better ray tracing, graphical global illumination and a variety of rendering optimizations. The console also has to be equipped with oversampling technology based on machine learning, this is apparently an analog of DLSS from Nvidia.
Microsoft also envisages the possibility of creating a hybrid device for use in the cloud. In fact, we don’t yet understand exactly what we’re talking about. It’s also planned to monitor games using AI and improve the monetization of company’s projects.
According to a separate slide, the new console is currently starting to run. If the plans don’t have changed, then Microsoft is just starting to design the chips for the console. The first devkit will only appear in a few years.
The next generation Xbox is currently scheduled to release in 2028. The Xbox has no plans to launch an accelerated version of X yet, but a fully redesigned version will still be available without a performance boost.
